Butte Antique District is located in Historic Uptown Butte, Montana. It
is the Nations Largest Historic District with more buildings on the
National Historic Registry than any other city in the United States. The
architecture is a study in itself and a photographers paradise.
Within the Antique District are many ANTIQUE STORES each
specializing in something unique such as: vintage clothing, books, smalls,
mining items, early American furniture, minerals, dolls, country,
mid-century, architectural items, vintage lights, jewelry, to mention a
few categories. Each Antique Store is filled with a fantastic variety of
genuine antiques and collectibles. These great Antique Stores are all
within walking distance of each other.
Butte Antique District is also home of several Museums, art galleries,
historic walking tours. Recently, The Butte Archieves received a grant to
upgrade and expand its facilities as it attracts people from all over the
world.
Annually, Butte Antique District, hosts some great Events that draw
visitors from across the country and internationally as well. There is the
National Folk Festival, Evil Knievel Daze, Irish Festival, Art Walks,
Chinese New Year Parade, Christmas Stroll and Ice Carvings.
Additionally, there are dozens of Specialty Stores in Uptown Butte. We
have many great eating places, bars and a Grand Hotel called the Finlin
that is beautifully restored.
